Welcome on the website of Jubilee Brass!

Mission statement: Jubilee Brass is a Salvation Army brass band comprised of Christian Salvationist musicians. both men and women, whose sole purpose is to present entertaining and spiritually challenging music in order to glorify God.

Jubilee Brass was formed in 1996. This 43 member brass ensemble is composed of retired men and women who have played over the years in Salvation Army Centres across southwestern Ontario.

The combined service of brass band music making would be close to 2420 years. The band has performed both in Canada and the United States in a variety of community events including Seniors Centres and Nursing Homes. London’s Centennial Hall and Western Fair and Pinafore Park in St Thomas along with the St George Apple Festival.

The band performs regularly in special events at Salvation Army centres and local churches and is kept very busy making music during the Christmas season. A variety of music from traditional hymns of the church with highlights from classical composers along with toe tapping marches and the contemporary sounds of  today are included in the Band’s varied repertoire.

The Band executive officer is Major Wilson Noble and the musical director is Bandmaster Jim Gordon. The band hopes to entertain you, but their primary goal is to glorify God through music making.
